Terms of use

Remote Web Task Recipes is a local accessibility aid for recording user-owned visual landmarks and instructions. By using it, you agree to these terms.

What the tool does

The extension displays coordinate-based landmarks and user-written steps over ordinary browser tabs. It does not control the remote app, create missing accessibility metadata, verify that an action succeeded, or guarantee compatibility with every browser-delivered or remote-desktop system.

Your responsibilities

Do not record passwords, authentication codes, private customer data, or instructions you are not authorized to keep. Confirm important actions in the underlying software. Follow your employer’s applicable policies when creating or sharing a notebook.

Supporter Pack

The $19 Supporter Pack is a one-time purchase for optional cosmetic covers. Core accessibility, export, and safety features remain free. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Refunds are handled through the merchant; a refund revokes the associated license. There is no subscription or promise of perpetual browser support.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent allowed by law. Do not rely on it as the sole control for safety-critical, financial, medical, or legal actions.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, the authors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the software, layout changes in a third-party app, or a lost backup passphrase.
